AIA Webinar Series Update

DConT2

On Monday, we held the second webinar in our America Invents Act (AIA) webinar series. Janet Gongola, who is responsible for implementation of the AIA, as well as educating the public on what it means for them, got "in the weeds" with us on patent-related final rules. She answered your questions about fees, declarations, disclosures, applications, third parties, examinations, and more. For anyone who is trying to navigate the changes that AIA is creating, Janet and her colleagues at the USPTO are invaluable.

If you couldn’t make it on Monday, we recorded the webinar so you can access the information at any time. The recording and copies of the presentation are available here. At that link, you can also sign up for our third webinar, coming up on Oct. 29. We’re excited to present this series to you, and hope you will join us next week to conclude the series with a webinar on administrative trial final rules. Our speaker will be Administrative Patent Judge Sally Medley, who has been instrumental in developing the administrative trial rules. Hope to see you there!

For more information about the America Invents Act, you can also visit the USPTO’s micro-site on AIA.

AIA not relevant to you? Take our survey and tell us what training topics you do need.
