FLC ELECTIONS 2026

The 2026 Call for Nominations is now OPEN! The nomination window runs from Feb. 4 - Mar. 6, 2026. Voting for candidates will then commence on Apr. 10, ending on May 13, 2026, at the FLC National Meeting.

Winners will be announced at the National Meeting on May 14, 2026. Terms for each position will go from October 1, 2026 - September 30, 2028.

The following positions are open:

  • Two (2) Member-at-Large positions
  • Six (6) Regional positions, in the following:
    • Three (3) Regional Coordinator positions in the Far-West, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest regions
    • Three (3) Deputy Regional Coordinator positions in the Far-West, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest regions

Far West: Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Washington

Mid-Atlantic: Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Washington, D.C.

Midwest: Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Wisconsin


Under 15 U.S.C. 3710(e)(2) and (3) and the FLC Bylaws Article VI, only Designated Agency Representatives and Laboratory Representatives may vote. Eligibility for election as a nationally elected officer shall be limited to laboratory representatives, agency representatives, and Consortium participants (i.e., people who work at FLC member labs in the broad area of technology transfer).
