Labs in Action stories underscore the active nature of technology transfer and help prospective partners, policymakers, taxpayers, and others understand the value and impact of federal tech transfer. Federal labs take action to identify a need, develop a technology to address that need, and establish partnerships to drive those innovations to the marketplace where they can benefit society, the economy, or national security.

To submit a Labs in Action story for consideration, please send it to [email protected]. Successful submissions will include the purpose of the technology in layman's terms and must include technologies developed by one or more federal labs that are commercially available (or updated in the last five years) and which highlight successful tech transfer partnerships."
