FLC Offers Free LES Memberships to Member Lab ORTAs and T2 Attorneys

Federal lab technology transfer professionals can now connect with the broader IP and licensing community through the Licensing Executives Society (LES) — at no cost to them or their labs.

FLC is covering the cost of LES memberships for technology transfer (T2) attorneys and Office of Research and Technology Applications (ORTA) professionals at FLC member labs. Each member laboratory can enroll up to two people, and the FLC pays the membership fee directly.

LES is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that brings together IP and licensing professionals across the U.S. and Canada to connect, advocate, and collaborate on the issues facing the field. LES members work in corporate licensing and business development, university and government T2, research and development, and more.

For federal lab ORTAs and T2 attorneys, that means a direct line to the licensing professionals on the other side of the agreements federal labs negotiate every day. They also gain the education, deal-making practice, and professional network that come with membership.

To take advantage of this member benefit, complete the FLC LES membership form, and LES will follow up directly to complete your membership registration. Because the FLC processes these in rounds, please allow a few weeks for registration to be completed.
