How It Works

Questions are organized into five categories: Intellectual Property Management, Agreements, Operations/Administration, Marketing/Business Development, and General. Post your question under the category that fits best, and a designated FLC Expert will weigh in with seasoned advice. Fellow members are encouraged to add their own follow-up questions, how-to processes, and quick tips they have picked up along the way.

To get started:

1. Go to the FLC eGroup Community and log in with your FLC account — the same login you use for FLC event registration, the Learning Center, FLC Business, and submitting topics or awards. If you don't have a login, creating an account is free and takes just a couple of minutes.
2. Find the Ask the FLC Experts button on the home page or in All Communities.
3. Click Request to Join and select your notification preferences.
4. Choose the discussion forum that best matches your question: Intellectual Property Management, Agreements, Operations/Administration, Marketing/Business Development, or General Questions.
5. Post your question, or reply to an existing thread.
6. Check back for responses from FLC Experts and fellow members.
7. Jump into other threads to share your own tips and how-tos!
