FLC has launched Ask the FLC Experts, a new discussion forum on FLC eGroups designed to be a hub for exchanging knowledge, expertise, and best practices across the federal technology transfer community. It's a place to ask questions, share what you've learned, and draw on the collective experience of professionals doing this work every day.
Ask the FLC Experts brings that expertise together in one place, connecting members with FLC Experts and with each other so knowledge that would otherwise stay siloed gets shared across the whole community.
The forum is organized into five discussion forums: Intellectual Property Management, Agreements, Operations/Administration, Marketing/Business Development, and General Questions. Post a question in the most appropriate/topical forum, and a designated FLC Expert will respond. Experts include federal T2 leaders as well as specialists from private industry and business development — from the Department of Energy and National Institutes of Health to manufacturing and venture capital. Fellow FLC members are also encouraged to jump in, sharing their own tips and how-tos.
To get started, use your FLC login — the same one you use to register for events, submit topics or awards, and access the Learning Center. If you don't have an account yet, creating one is free and only takes a couple of minutes.
