Save the Dates for the 2018 FLC National Meeting! The Federal Laboratory Consortium for Technology Transfer (FLC) is excited to announce that it will be holding its 2018 national meeting in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania!

Each year, the Federal Laboratory Consortium for Technology Transfer (FLC) holds a national meeting where technology transfer (T2) professionals can hear from some of the most forward-thinking minds in their field, learn best practices for advancing their technologies, and network with industry. This year’s meeting will center on the theme Celebrating American Innovation and promises to offer a variety of beneficial educational training courses and insights from experienced T2 and industry professionals.

Drawing hundreds of the nation's top tech transfer professionals together to learn, strategize and make business connections. The national meeting is one of the most anticipated events in the T2 community that offers training and networking opportunities designed to facilitate attendees’ lab to market endeavors. Over the course of three days, T2 professionals join together to:

  • receive training from field experts
  • share commercialization best practices
  • gain insights about the latest T2 trends and legislation
  • learn how businesses can work with a federal lab
  • network with T2 professionals and potential industry partners
  • Earn continuing education units (CEUs).

The FLC offers a full day of on-site training designed to meet the professional development requirements of all T2 professionals—from beginners to experienced practitioners. This year’s training day features seven courses providing a T2 overview for beginners, to in-depth, advanced workshops that explore topics such as licensing and negotiation, marketing tools, and engaging the innovation ecosystem.
