Carbon Mitigation Virtual Workshop

In 2018, U.S. greenhouse gas emissions totaled 6.7 billion metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalents. Pressure to mitigate these emissions is rapidly increasing to address the developing climate crisis. There is nothing simple about reducing carbon emissions. It is a topic that is rife with preconceptions and fears as well as technological, economical, and institutional difficulties.

This interactive virtual workshop hosted by the Technology Collaboration Center in partnership with the Gulf Coast Carbon Collaborative will create adequate opportunities to feature and discuss novel and “unusual” solutions. Participants will be encouraged to participate in breakout sessions for different mitigation approaches.
