Have you heard of prize competitions, but aren’t quite sure what they’re about? Are you looking for new ways to engage the public to source innovation in your agency?
Spotlight Chats are moderated discussions with innovation leaders across government to highlight success stories and lessons learned. In this event, members of the planning group for the Lab-to-Market (L2M) Inclusive Innovation Ecosystem prize competition from the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP), the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and the IDA Science and Technology Policy Institute (STPI) will describe their journey through design and implementation. They will also share best practices and considerations when organizing similar competitions and determining prize winners.
Following the discussion, the panelists will respond to your questions. Please register to submit your questions in advance.
At the end of this session you will have an understanding of one group’s journey through designing and implementing a prize competition and come away with practical tips and considerations when organizing similar competitions.
