The Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) presents the Mass Casualty Virtual Summit, a two-day event presented each afternoon from 12:30 - 4:30 PM EST.
Day 1: consists of discussions and overviews on pre-attack threat assessment investigation, case studies, leveraging social media platforms to identify potential threats and identifying physical security deficiencies and vulnerabilities.
Day 2: consists of post-attack response for managing and conducting high volumes of interviews, tips and techniques of capturing and analyzing electronic evidence, and forensic investigations of a mass casualty event.
Prerequisites: You are employed as a sworn law enforcement officer/agent with arrest authority in the prevention, detection, apprehension, detention and/or investigation of felony and/or misdemeanor violations of federal, state, local, tribal, or military criminal laws; designated Direct Law Enforcement Support Personnel (DLESP) to include Fire & Rescue, EMTs and Paramedics with assigned duties that require knowledge of the subject matter.
