Join us for our next FLC Member Connect webinar for an inside look at one of the Gulf South's fastest-growing innovation ecosystems. We'll be joined by Evie Poitevent Sanders, VP of Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Greater New Orleans, Inc., the regional economic development organization for Southeast Louisiana, and Casey Candebat, Executive Director of Industry Partnerships at the Tulane Innovation Institute.
StartupNOLA is Greater New Orleans's comprehensive ecosystem-building initiative, connecting entrepreneurs, investors, higher-ed institutions, and support organizations across the region. It serves as a hub for startup activity spanning industries from biotech to clean energy to advanced manufacturing.
Evie will give an overview of StartupNOLA's mission, resources, and the momentum building in the New Orleans startup scene. Casey will share the university perspective, highlighting how Tulane partners with industry to move research from the lab to the market. Together, they'll offer practical ways tech transfer professionals in the FLC network can plug in, from connecting federal lab technologies with regional startups and investors to exploring pilot programs, partnerships, and commercialization pathways.
