Naval Integration in Contested Environments ANTX 2021

NavalX and DASN RDT&E respectfully request your participation in a “Seaside Chat” panel discussion with Mr. Bray, VADM Kilby, and BGen Watson

Topic: How the Advanced Naval Technology Exercise (ANTX) and similar events accelerate the discovery, learning, and experimentation with future Naval capabilities.

What: Panel discussion (non FOUO): Exercises and experimentation are critical to leverage fast-moving technologies into credible and valid warfighting capabilities. The Navy and USMC have been leaning on events such as ANTX to accelerate development of future Naval capabilities. How do we increase DON and private sector involvement in these events?

Event description:

The evolving Naval fight is driving changes in capabilities, tactics, and force structure. Exercises and experimentation are critical to leverage fast-moving technologies into credible and valid warfighting capabilities. The Navy and USMC have been leaning on events such as ANTX with the NRDE and momentum is growing, with the next joint event planned for April 2021.

This discussion will be a conversation and an opportunity to hear from relevant Navy and Marine Corps leadership about how these events play into the acceleration of Naval capabilities, what they’d like to see more of, how we might appropriately increase Naval and industry involvement in these events, how we could better tie them together, and other needs that are not being met to create an informed vision of the future.
