For this week's Tuesday Licensing Forum @ 2pm we will have a special presentation and discussion with Gillian M. Fenton, Esq., CLP, President and Chair of the Board of the Licensing Executives Society (USA & Canada).

Please join us for a presentation and discussion with Gillian M. Fenton, CLP, President and Board Chair of the Licensing Executives Society (LES), to learn how federal tech transfer professionals can utilize LES resources to enhance and advance their careers.

For more than 50 years, LES has been the leading association for intellectual property, technology, and business development professionals. The group brings IP and licensing groups together to network, collaborate and discuss some of the most critical issues facing the industry today and tomorrow.
The session will include an overview of LES including its unique position in the world of professional societies and ways to utilize the various society offerings to advance your licensing career, including educational programs, exclusive deal term data, expert insights and of course the Certified Licensing Professional (CLP) qualification – all to help you advance your business strategies and leverage your lab's intellectual property.

About the speaker: Gillian M. Fenton, Esq., CLP is currently President and Chair of the Board of LES (USA & Canada); she has been a member of the society since 1992. She previously served LES in a variety of roles, including as a member of the Board Executive Committee, Director for Communications and Publications, and as chair of the LES Insights Editorial Board. Gillian is presently Special Counsel for Innovation and Government Collaborations at GSK Vaccines. Her practice includes a wide variety of business development transactions, R&D collaborations and nondilutive funding agreements with U.S. Government entities (NIH/NIAID, BARDA and DARPA), all in support of the vaccines pipeline. Prior to joining GSK, Gillian was VP, Associate General Counsel & Chief Intellectual Property Counsel at Emergent BioSolutions Inc., where she founded the IP department and supported all IP aspects of the company's IPO and subsequent 9 years of growth through M&A in the vaccines, biodefense, and global health fields.
