Update: The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center made the decision to move the 2020 Industry Growth Forum (IGF) to a virtual format due to concerns about coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Rather than canceling the IGF, NREL’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (IEC) decided to continue in a virtual format in order to advance the global transition to a clean-energy economy. The 2020 IGF will still take place April 29-30; the registration fee has been lowered to $100 for all registrants.
The Industry Growth Forum is a one-of-a-kind event in the cleantech space.
In its 25th year, the Industry Growth Forum (IGF) is the premier event for cleantech entrepreneurs, investors, and experts from industry and the public sector to build relationships, showcase innovative technologies, and identify disruptive business solutions. The IGF builds on decades of technical expertise and market analysis accumulated at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), the nation’s only federal lab dedicated to renewable energy and energy efficiency research.
The 40 investor-selected cleantech startups will be pitching via live webinar in their respective tracks to an online audience of attendees and investors. Recordings of each pitch will also be provided to registrants. We have four tracks of pitches including: Growth Stage, Commercialization Stage, Early Stage, and Emerging Markets. Pitches are judged live by a panel of investors and the top-scoring companies awarded Best Venture and Outstanding Venture.
Best-in-class, motivated cleantech investors from NREL's network of investors and expert industry advisors have the opportunity to connect with participating startups. Through the one-on-one networking sessions, startups schedule, meet, and build connections during 10-minute sessions with investors and advisors.
