In this webinar, learn about the fourth report in the Storage Futures Study that examines the drivers of customer adoption of behind-the-meter battery storage. For this phase of the study, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) expanded capabilities of the Distributed Generation Market Demand model to simulate customer decisions whether to adopt distributed storage paired with photovoltaics (PV) under different scenarios. Model results show that lower battery costs and higher value of backup power drive distributed storage deployment.
