Amanda Hollis of the top-ranked international law firm of Kirkland & Ellis LLP is an intellectual property litigator with 22 years of experience in intellectual property litigation, having tried and led patent cases in federal courts across the country, in the United States International Trade Commission, and the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Amanda has experience leading all aspects of IP litigation, including cases involving patent infringement, trade secret misappropriation, and breach of contract claims. Her practice includes wide-ranging technologies, including biotechnology, medical devices, chemistry, computing and electronics. Her life sciences casework has included cases involving blockbuster pharmaceutical drugs (including biologics and small molecules), blood analyzers, immunotherapies, devices and treatments for the brain, heart, spine, and vascular system, Covid-19 tests and other diagnostics, DNA and RNA testing kits, aesthetic devices, and glucose monitors, among other technologies. Amanda received her B.S. in biology from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
