The Trusted AI at Scale event will culminate in the awarding of more than $18 million to small businesses with game-changing AI technologies during the USAF SBIR/STTR Pitch Day and Trusted AI Challenge Series.
USAF SBIR/STTR AI Pitch Day
The USAF SBIR/STTR AI Pitch Day will award over $18M to proposals on the topic of trusted artificial intelligence, which indicates systems are safe, secure, robust, capable, and effective. Selected small businesses will be awarded to execute their proposals and continue their research and development.
Trusted AI Challenge Series
The Trusted AI Challenge Series is a collaboration between AFRL, The State University of New York (SUNY), Innovare Advancement Center, NYSTEC, Griffiss Institute, and the National Security Innovation Network (NSIN). This challenge will award up to $925K to proposals that address the need for trustworthiness in dynamic, autonomous AI systems. Teams will self-organize and propose a short-term, high-velocity sprint to explore various aspects of the challenges presented. Selected teams will be awarded to execute their proposals.
