Wearable Technologies Workshop

The Technology Collaboration Center will hold a two-day workshop on Wearable Technologies on April 23 & 24, 2018, at the NASA Johnson Space Center, Houston. 

This event will bring together organizations needing or developing new wearable technologies, in a format providing an opportunity for participants to network and explore potential partnerships. 

April 23 - Challenge Day 

13 real-world challenges have been submitted by NASA Johnson Space Center, KBRWyle, Kimberly-Clark and Red Wing Shoes. 22 university student and startup teams will present their proof-of-concept prototypes. 

April 24 - Presentation Day 

There will be presentations on the latest wearable technology developments or unmet challenges related to wearables.

Tickets for the workshop are $150; single day tickets are $50 (April 23) and $100 (April 24). TCC Members get a 50% discount. TCC Memberships can be purchased for $175, which includes tickets for the entire workshop. 

Details on the workshop, including the agenda, presenters, and workshop location will be provided to registered attendees. 

The TCC is also now accepting Collaboration Requests related to wearable technologies. Requests submitted in conjunction with the workshop will be highlighted at the workshop and the TCC’s website. The TCC waives Collaboration Concierge Service program fees for requests submitted in conjunction with a workshop (potentially a $21,000 savings).
