Are you developing wearable technologies or solutions? Are you looking for wearable technologies-related solutions or collaboration partners?

The Technology Collaboration Center will hold a two day workshop on Wearable Technologies on April 29 & 30, 2019, hosted by NASA Johnson Space Center.

Day 1 - Challenge Day

The first day of the workshop will be for the Challenge Program, where organizations submitted their unmet Wearable Technologies challenges to the TCC. 16 university student teams have been assigned to develop proof-of-concept prototypes for 8 challenges, submitted by the NASA Johnson Space Center, Patagonia, VF Corporation and VINSS. The teams will make a presentation and demonstrate their project results on April 29.

Day 2 - Presentation Day

The second day of the event will have presentations on the latest wearable technology developments or unmet challenges related to wearables. If your organization is interested in wearable technologies, please visit the TCC’s website to register for the workshop, or to request an opportunity to make a presentation. Tickets for the workshop are $150, with single day tickets for April 29 at $50 and April 30 at $100. TCC Members get a 50% discount. Details on the workshop, including the agenda, presenters, and workshop location will be provided to registered attendees. The Marriott Courtyard is providing a limited number of discounted rooms for workshop attendees.

Please visit the TCC’s website for details. The TCC is also now accepting Collaboration Requests related to wearable technologies. Requests submitted in conjunction with the workshop will be highlighted at the workshop and the TCC’s website. The TCC waives Collaboration Concierge Service program fees for requests submitted in conjunction with a workshop.
