Summary: Notice is hereby given that the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) intends to grant to Carbon Holdings Intellectual Properties, LLC., 1101 Sugarview Drive, Suite 201, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, a partially-exclusive license to U.S. Patent No. 11,535,518 issued 12/27/2022, titled "Production of Graphene-Structured Products from Coal using Thermal Molten Salt Process."

The partially-exclusive field of use for this liense is: "Construction materials and composites, concrete and cementitious materials and their composites, asphalt and its composites, porous carbons and carbon foams, carbon fibers, sensors, battery materials, electrodes; and composites excluding carbons made from tires, waste plastics and municipal solid waste."

Supplementary Information:

The Federal Government's patent rights in these inventions are assigned to the U.S. Government as represented by the Department of Energy. It is in the public interest to license this invention because Carbon Holdings Intellectual Properties, LLC has submitted a complete and sufficient application for license. The prospective exclusive license within a particular field of use will be royalty-bearing and will comply with the terms and conditions of 35 U.S.C. 209 and 37 CFR 404.7. The prospective exclusive license may be granted unless, within 15 days from the date of this published notice, the U.S. Department of Energy, National Energy Technology Laboratory, Research Planning & Delivery directorate receives written evidence and argument establishing that the grant of the license would not be consistent with the requirements of 35 U.S.C. and 37 CFR 404.7.
