The Department of Homeland Security's Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) has joined forces with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the University of Kansas, the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency to help extend the life of dams and other concrete flood risk management infrastructure in an environmentally responsible way.
