When the Covid-19 brought many businesses to a halt, Chris Campbell had to pivot. Campbell is the CEO and founder of SimpliFi Automation, an electronic systems engineering company that was growing steadily until the pandemic took hold. That’s when he discovered federal technology transfer through NASA’s patent portfolio.
Simpli-Fi licensed an innovative technology from known as the electronic nose. The e-nose technology was promising, but it stretched the company’s capabilities — so Chris had to find an ecosystem of people and organizations that could help him bring the product to life.
