Ask Questions—and Prep for Awards Deadlines—at November Office Hours This Thursday

donna marianne

Got questions? We’ve got answers! Visit us Thursday, Nov. 10, at 2:30 p.m. EST for our November office hours. The deadline to submit for FLC awards is just around the corner! So this month, Awards Chair Donna Bialozor will join us to address any of your last-minute concerns, along with mentor Marianne Lynch.

Our new, online awards submission process simplifies your nominations, but if you’re still on the learning curve, you might need some tips. As the mind behind this upgrade, Donna is the person to see. Talking to her might just give you the edge you need to win this year!

Marianne Lynch brings a unique perspective, having served as a patent attorney at no less than four different agencies (EPA, NIH, Commerce, and now, Dept. of Energy). She’s intimately involved with the upcoming policy changes you’ll need to watch out for next year.

Join us online for office hours, and ask her your questions this Thursday, Nov. 10, from 2:30 to 3:00 p.m. EST. Learn how at our calendar event for the session.

All year we’re hosting online office hours on the second Thursday of every month to help you connect with mentors who can answer your questions. Drop in at any time and chat live with an expert about all things tech transfer. Whatever you’re wondering about—our new submission process, tips for a successful nomination, or your latest IP issue—joining these sessions is a great way to get started in the right direction.

The FLC’s mentorship program is designed to bring our most knowledgeable T2 experts to you. You can reach out to mentors through these office hours, post questions on the FLC forum, or email them (including Marianne) directly to set up a private conversation.
