Join CRADA Expert Bob Charles This Thursday for FLC Office Hours

Mentor post

August office hours are the place to be if you have CRADA confusion! This Thursday from 2:30 to 3:00 p.m. EDT, Bob Charles, the FLC’s premier CRADA expert, will be online to help you with your questions.

Bob wrote the book on CRADAs—literally. He’s served as editor and contributor to several editions of the FLC “Green Book” and the T2 Desk Reference, and was the initial editor and contributor of numerous articles over the years to the Army’s Medical-Legal Deskbook. Bob designed and still teaches our CRADA Workshop, one of the most crucial training courses for a T2 professional.

Add to that 15 years in tech transfer at the Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (where as Chief, Medical Research Law, he’s really made the CRADA program his own), nine years as the FLC Legal Issues Chair, plus 20 additional years of legal experience. If you have a CRADA dilemma—or any other T2 dilemma, really—Bob has probably encountered it!

So to pick his brain, drop in to office hours this Thursday, August 11, from 2:30 to 3:00 p.m. EDT. Learn how at our calendar event for this session.

All year, we’re hosting office hours on the second Thursday of each month to connect you with mentors like Bob. It’s a great chance to ask questions in a low-pressure environment. Since each session is just an informal chat with an expert, there’s no need to preregister. Whether you’re looking for guidance on a specific problem, need a recommendation for a good resource or tool, or want career advice, mentors are available to help.

New this year, the mentorship program is designed to help you get to know some of the FLC’s most seasoned experts. You can seek their guidance through these office hours, post questions on the FLC forum, or email mentors (including Bob) directly to set up a private conversation.
