USPTO MBDA

Showcase Your Laboratory at the MBDA Annual Conference – October 23 The Department of Commerce’s Minority Business Development Agency is looking for laboratories to conduct technology demonstrations at our annual conference in Detroit, Michigan, on Monday, October 23, 2017. Each year we partner with the nation’s largest minority supplier diversity organization—the National Minority Supplier Diversity Council—to hold our annual meetings together with the 6,000 attendees representing the nation’s largest and most successful minority-owned businesses. This one-of-a-kind event features:

  • Thousands of corporate executives; procurement professionals; and Asian, Black, Hispanic and Native American business owners
  • A one-day Business Opportunity Exchange with more than 700 exhibit booths
  • Endless opportunities to network, network, network!

Minority Enterprise Development Week is declared by a presidential proclamation and celebrates the achievements of the nation’s Asian, Hispanic, Black, and Native American businesses. Your presence will help attract these firms so we can share information about federal technology transfer and your laboratory/agency. The NMSDC Conference and Business Opportunity Exchange is the nation’s premier forum on minority supplier development. For four days, procurement and supplier diversity professionals from the top multinational companies, as well as leading Asian, Black, Hispanic and Native American business owners and international organizations, will convene in Detroit, Michigan, to reenergize their collective for solid minority firms in the global corporate supply chain.
