Agency Reps

Providing big-picture perspective

Agency Representatives support the FLC’s mission, encourage lab participation in Consortium activities, and serve as institutional links between the FLC and their respective agencies.

These representatives provide FLC’s leadership and staff with a big-picture perspective on issues affecting the federal labs within each agency. They make the FLC aware of changing agency missions and priorities, and help the Consortium adapt as needed to accommodate and support those changes.

Agency Reps are eligible to vote in FLC elections, which can involve electing new Executive Board members or approving changes to the Consortium bylaws, policies and procedures. Agency Representatives are also eligible to run for national and regional FLC offices. They play a  valuable role in supporting federal technology transfer as it pertains to an agency’s broader mission and vision.
