Army partners with drug company Gilead on experimental COVID-19 treatment

The medication by Gilead, remdesivir, was approved by the Food and Drug Administration for clinical research in February. The U.S. Army will work with Gilead Sciences to provide the company’s investigational coronavirus drug to U.S. troops confirmed to have the COVID-19 virus. Learn More.
