The study was supported by the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) Brain Research Through Advancing Innovative Neurotechnologies (BRAIN) Initiative and published on March 7 in Nature Neuroscience. Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Children’s Hospital Boston, and Toronto Western Hospital were involved in the study, which was funded by the NIH BRAIN Initiative, the National Science Foundation, and Brain Canada.
