Photo of the Week: Multi-Organ-Chip

The TissUse multi-organ chip (MOC) is designed to house human tissues in modular compartments that can be adjusted for tissue type and total tissue number, ranging from a two-organ chip to a four-organ chip. It can be used to grow induced pluripotent stem cells, primary cells, organoids, or cells cultured in transwells. By integrating multiple target organ systems on one chip through microfluidics, the TissUse system allows for a more complete and physiologically relevant picture of the effects of chemical and biological agents of concern.
