Have you done a study on the effectiveness of tech transfer at your lab? Have you ever wanted to put your name on a scientific paper? The FLC has a limited number of opportunities for the publication of papers on technology transfer in the NAI Journal at no cost to you or your lab. This is an opportunity for our members to write about their work including effectiveness, economic impact analysis, new techniques or other analyses. These would be in the form of a peer-reviewed scientific paper or other study of tech transfer.
If a scientific paper is not a good fit but you would like to highlight a technique or unique application, the NAI Journal can also accept non-peer reviewed editorials on appropriate topics that fall within the FLC mission areas.
While anyone can publish in the NAI Journal, the no-cost opportunities here are only available to FLC member laboratories. The FLC will vet submissions for membership and relevance to technology transfer and then pass them to the NAI Journal. You can also flag papers to NAI for review. The FLC and NAI Journal are specifically interested in papers related to intellectual property issues but will accept anything for consideration that is industry-relevant and in accordance with guidelines set out here.
The National Academy of Inventors, or NAI, publish the Technology & Innovation Journal (NAI Journal) as a form for presenting information encompassing the entire field of applied sciences with a focus on transformative technology and academic innovation. The NAI Journal is dedicated to supporting the NAI’s mission to support and honor academic invention and inventors.
