NCI-FNL Technology Showcase

Save the date for the 2021 Technology Showcase: September 1.

This event, hosted by the National Cancer Institute and Frederick National Laboratory, showcases federal technologies to prospective partners and strengthen public-private relationships that support the regional economy. Originally a regional event, it has grown to include potential collaborators from outside the state of Maryland. Technology Showcase events have highlighted 84 technologies over four years, and have led to multiple collaborative interactions that have included Confidential Nondisclosure Agreements, Commercial Evaluation Licenses, and Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADAs). The success of this event earned it a 2021 FLC National Award for State and Local Economic Development.

This free, half-day hybrid event will include:

• Presentations from NCI and FNL inventors about technologies primed for commercialization and/or collaboration; great opportunity for biotech stakeholders and companies of all sizes, including start-ups.
• Panel sessions focused on technology commercialization.
• Lightning Pitch & Poster Session highlighting additional NIH technologies available for licensing and collaborative development presented by the NCI Technology Transfer Ambassadors Program.
• Networking with regional life science professionals from multiple sectors, including industry, government, investment, entrepreneurship, and academia.
