About the speaker:
Adrian Muñiz is currently a licensing project manager in the Division of Advanced Reactor and Non-Power Production and Utilization Facilities in the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (NRR). Muñiz joined the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission in 2003 as a project engineer in NRR’s Licensing Project Management Division. After obtaining his licensing project manager qualification, he served as the project manager for several operating nuclear power plants. In 2007, he joined the Office of New Reactors. While there, he served as the lead project manager for the reviews of the Fermi 3 combined license application (COLA) and the Advanced Boiling Water Reactor Design certification renewal.
