Ray Friesenhahn, Advanced Technology Scout SBIR & Technology Transition Manager, TechLink. Ray is a member of TechLink's founding team and manages TechLink's Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and technology transition assistance program. Prior to joining TechLink, Ray was a technology transfer manager for NASA. He has an MBA and is a Certified Licensing Professional, and a Tibbett's Award winner for Outstanding Contributions to the SBIR Program.
Elden Hawkes, Partnership and Innovation Specialist, SBA SBIR/STTR. In his current role, Elden manages SBA's Federal and State Technology (FAST) Partnership Program and outreach efforts targeting Minority Serving Institutions and SBIR Road Tours. Prior to the SBA, he spent 7 years with the USDA's National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) where he helped grow the USDA's SBIR program as its program manager. He hold a degree in Environmental Science/Marine Science and a Master's in Food and Agricultural Science, both from the University of Maryland's Eastern Shore.
