Attend this annual hands-on workshop to boost code performance and achieve computational readiness for INCITE and other Argonne Leadership Computing Facility (ALCF) allocation programs.
From May 5–7, 2020, we will host the annual ALCF Computational Performance Workshop to help researchers achieve computational readiness on ALCF computing resources. Workshop participants will have the opportunity to:
* Work directly with ALCF and industry professionals during the workshop and dedicated hands-on sessions
* Explore advanced techniques and tools to enhance code performance and expand your data science skills
* Benchmark and debug your code with exclusive reservations on ALCF computing systems
* Prepare for a major allocation award (e.g., INCITE, ALCC, ALCF Data Science Program)
Who is eligible? This workshop is intended for HPC researchers and team members with near-term goals of applying for a major allocation award. Registrants will be reviewed for experience level and will be asked to provide both a research summary and goals for attending.
Coronavirus update: New site access protocols
To protect the health and wellbeing of Argonne National Laboratory employees, collaborators, and visitors, we continue to assess and adjust our response to the COVID-19/coronavirus outbreak. We rely on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to ensure that our decisions reflect the most current and accurate information.
Argonne National Laboratory requests that users and visitors who have traveled from or through a foreign country for which the CDC has issued a Warning Level 3 notice (avoid all nonessential travel) reschedule their visit to Argonne for a time at least 15 days after the date of their arrival in the United States.
We continue to ask all users and visitors who are ill, particularly if they are exhibiting respiratory symptoms, including fever, cough, and shortness of breath, to reschedule their visit and seek medical guidance.
This is a temporary measure that will help Argonne maintain a safe, healthy, and productive workplace. We appreciate your patience and willingness to minimize the spread of this virus.
