Join NavalX on May 20th as we host a webinar with leaders in the Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) Community, aka Naval Warriors, across the Department of the Navy. They will talk about the challenges they are looking to overcome with implementing A.I. at the SYSCOM level and what we the workforce can do to see more of it in our home commands. There will be time for Q&A during and after the discussion.
Working with our Naval Project Sponsors on Artificial Intelligence technology solutions is often a challenging path. Not only because it’s hard to find scientist with the right technical acumen for AI, but also the data!
The data collection is a huge challenge within any organization. Scientists ask what data can we use to build our models, what data are identified as needed to complete the product you are trying to created, and how much data is too much data?
Our data scientists could spend weeks finding the data stores and interviewing subject matter experts to find those data stores. Is this really productive use of time? The Navy's A.I. professionals will explain the upfront work of identifying the data, making the data accessible (siloed data), the quality of the data, and other areas that need the attention of the Project Sponsors to make their Artificial Intelligence project more successful.
