Nuclear and Emerging Technologies for Space (NETS) 2021

NETS is the premier annual gathering of individuals from NASA, policy makers, national laboratories, industry and academia for discussions on space nuclear power and propulsion as well as new and emerging technologies for space exploration capabilities.

NETS 2021 is sponsored by the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and will be held from April 26th-30th, 2021. This conference will be held virtually so that the entire NETS community may participate in this exciting meeting.

The theme for the NETS 2021 meeting is: Back to the moon and beyond through advancing nuclear technologies and innovation. There are 4 technical tracks that are open for standard fifteen minute podium presentations.

Track 1: Radioisotopes and Power Conversion Systems – Scott Wilson
Track 2: Nuclear Fission Power and Propulsion – Paolo Venneri
Track 3: Mission Concepts and Policy for Nuclear Space Systems – Bhavya Lal & Susannah Howieson
