Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility User Meeting (Remote)

The Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility (OLCF) will hold its annual OLCF User Meeting remotely from June 3-4, 2020. The purpose of the user meeting is to share selected computational science and engineering achievements emerging from the OLCF’s user programs, to enable interactions among users, to advance the OLCF’s relationships with our user community, and to highlight computational requirements for the future. The 2020 meeting will feature an optional Summit New User Training, Summit user-experience talks, center updates from OLCF staff, and OLCF executive board election results.

This meeting will be held as a remote-only event. Participation is limited by the number of videoconference seats allowed by the platform, so we highly encourage you to register to ensure you reserve your spot in the meeting.

On day 1 (June 3), the OLCF will offer an optional training event intended to deliver the information new OLCF users need to get started running on Summit. Presentations will cover topics such as system architecture, programming environments, batch scheduler / job launcher, etc.

On day 2 (June 4), presentations will be given on facility updates and Summit user experiences and the OLCF executive board election results will also be disclosed.
