The 2020 SBIR Weeks are virtual events and part of a national outreach effort connecting entrepreneurs working on advanced technologies to the country’s largest source of early stage funding – the Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR) programs. Also known as America’s Seed Fund, the SBIR/STTR programs provide more than $3.7 billion in funding to small businesses each year in a wide variety of technology areas.
Each virtual event, hosted by a local organization, will provide registrants with an opportunity to hear directly from the participating federal agency program managers that administer more than 5,500 new awards annually and to meet one-on-one with program decision makers.
The Rockies kick off the 2020 Virtual SBIR Weeks from August 10 - 14. Agencies in Idaho, Montana, Utah and Wyoming will be involved. See the registration link for more information on each state's program.
